Slightly O/T, I know, but this seems like the right place to pose this
question.

I was all set to get Photokit Sharpener based in Luminous-Landscape's
review back in 2003.  The fact that so many Photoshop heavyweights are
behind Pixel Genius, the makers of Photokit, weighed in on me as well.

DxO Optics Pro, is a very different program, granted, but it does
overlap Photokit in one important aspect:  Capture Sharpening.  

If DxO works as well at capture sharpening as it claims, could one not
simply use PSCS2 for output sharpening and be better off?
