Digital BW, The Print

Hi Guys,

I'm new at this forum. I (still) have an epson stylus 950. Recently I 
ran out of ink. Most cartridges are empty. But rather than replacing 
them with new colour cartridges, I was considering buying a new 
printer, say the R1800, for colour And keep this printer for dedicated 
B&W. Despite how good it is (I think it is amazingly good actually)
there seem to be little bulk feed systems and B&W systems for this 
printer, which surprises me because it is basically the A4 dye based 
version of the 2100 (2200 in the US). I think it is the 960 in the US, 
but I'm not too sure.
Anywa, my question now is, what system can I use for this printer? I 
know of the Lyson Quad inks (do they only have 4 grey tints in there 
spread over 7 cartridges?).
ANy ideas/suggestions?
