I tried for a couple of months to print b&w using the MIS archival color pigs, but never got a great print. Between posterization, un smooth low value transitions, it was an exercise in futility. I switched back to the MIS color dyes, and am getting beautiful b&w prints, without expensive profiles, on LPM. In my opinion, there is no comparison between the look of a b&w print using the MIS dyes as compared to the MIS color pigs. Dyes wins hands down. David
