Hi Kevin, An Epson 2400 with the K3 inks will print B/W quite well as well as print glossy prints without the usual problem of gloss differential and print matt papers well. No need for additional 3rd party inks or RIPS to accomplish your aims. The cost will be a little more than some of the other 13x19 printers, but there will be no need for additional expense. This printer uses pigmented inks which offer more archival prints than the dye printers.
