I use Epson Premium Semi-matte for my large display glossy prints.

Originally, availability in rolls and price were the Semi-matte's major
advantages for me.  Frankly, I prefer the Semi-gloss's lack of optical
brighteners.

With the latest MIS UT inks, the Epson Premium Semi-matte ("PSM"?) now has a
significant advantage in lack of bronzing.  The new inks on PSM and Kirkland
make very good glossy prints.  The Semi-gloss, however, still has too much
bronzing, in my opinion.   If one sprays the print, it doesn't matter.
However, if un-sprayed, the Semi-matte is now going to look significantly
better than the Semi-gloss.
