RE: [Digital BW] R2400 deals?

>>CompUSA has a $100 gift card with R2400 purchase. Are there any better
deals out there?<<

If I remember right, you have to mail off to get the $100 card and then of
course you can only use it at CompUSA. Also, you may have to pay tax on
$850. That adds another $59 here. Newegg.com (very reputable) has the
r2400 for $764.75 plus $13.50 three day shipping but probably no tax at
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16828103175. In the
short term, that seems like a better deal to me. The advantage of CompUSA
is an easy return if you happen to have a problem unit. Amazon has it for
$806 with free shipping (as of tonight) but that is probably the very slow
shipping method.

If you go with CompUSA, I really urge you to open a business account before
you buy. You won't get much of discount on hardware (if any) but you will
whenever you have to buy consumables like paper and ink. If you have a tax
free ID, take that with you and get it added to your account when you open
it.
