I do business with Amazon and bought mine from them three weeks ago. 
I believe I paid around $765, though prices do change see Doug's 
note below). Shipping is free, and it took appx five calender days 
to get to Maine. The best reason to buy from Amazon is the return 
policy - 30day, no questions asked. If you do not like the printer, 
send it back. I did that with an Epson 4990 scanner. It did not do 
my 120 chromes justice so I returned it. They even paid for the 
return shipping. Of course, I ended up buying a Nikon 9000 from 
them....Do make sure that you are actually buying form Amazon and 
not one of their affiliates who do not offer free shipping or that 
return policy. By the way, I plan to keep the R2400.
