Digital BW, The Print

Can anyone help me with the following (please reply off-list as this is probably off-topic).  
PS's Flash Web Galleries seem to load each image as it is selected rather than loading 
everything when the page is first browsed.  As a result, unless the images are very very small 
the dissolve transition doesn't work because it's downloading the next image.  I get a screen 
wipe  with an updating % (rather than a dissolve transition) even with images as small as 
120kb with a 2MB downstream broadband service.  I was wondering if there was a way to edit 
the html somehow to tell the browser to download the lot at the beginning (loading.....) so 
that the transitions work properly.  Ideas?
