MIS UT2 and Epson Ink

I have bought a used 1280 and wish to use the MIS UT2 Inkset.  What 
procedure is necessary to clean the printer before using the UT2?  Can 
the printer be used for both UT2 and Epson inksets or am I asking for 
touble by switching inksets?  This is all new to me and I appreciate 
all the good information found on this forum.  Thanks
