Yes I am comparing them to other Piezo images printed on the same paper. 2. It seems smokey in the dark areas only. 3. I am using the 2880 dpi setting that the profile calls for. 4. I did triple check the cartridges and they are in their respective slots. 5 But you last idea of printing a gradient gave me bizzare results. It printed all black with no gradient. Milt
