I tried putting UT7 in the R220, except that I put carbon (UT7 LC) in the Y position. With no curves of other adjustments and the driver on "Color Controls," the setup prints a good ramp that is just slightly warm on EEM. What I was really interested in is what range the system could get with the sliders for tone (hue) and then using an ICC made with Roy's "Create ICC" to get the ramp "straight." With the sliders all the way to 25 the ramp just looked too bad to deal with. However, with moderate settings that still resulted in very distorted shadow tones the ICCs were able to give excellent ramps - quite an impressive performance for this ICC approach. The tone range was from slightly cool (Lab b = -1.5) to medium warm, about like the FS inks (b = 2.7). It's not a large range, but a very useful one for those who might want to set up a CFS with and have the ability to easily have more than one tone and linearize the systems themselves.
