Digital BW, The Print

Hi folks,
  I'd like to do more sophisticated toning with UT2, but it's tough --
I never know what I'm going to get until I see a print.  Has anyone
figured out a way to model e.g. warm highlights on the screen?  It
wouldn't have to be perfect, even a rough approximation would help a
lot.  I'm using an Epson 1280 w/PS.
