Yes, architectural work has never been so straightforward. One great bit of free software for PC (or at least free-ish - small donation requested) is PTLens, available either as a plugin or standalone. It gives us all totally distortion-free lenses (thanks also to Prof Helmut Dersch's Panorama Tools that it uses). The 12-24mm I use for most work isn't bad anyway, but it's nice to get zero distortion. Also corrects vignetting and CA, and you can batch a whole set of images taken with the same lens (even at different focal lengths) and have a coffee while the computer corrects them all. I can even shoot on fisheye and then correct to rectilinear for really wide stuff, though there is still a little CA that isn't easily removed that would be a problem in really critical work. Thinking of replacing the 12-24 by a 10-20 as well to get a little wider. What problem indeed!
