I thought I'd post my first observations. I just sold Two Epson 2200's. One had a CIS system from MIS with their Ultrachrome equivalent inks, the other 2200 had a CIS system from MIS with their UT7 all bLAck inkset. Both systems worked great and I loved the ink. I especially liked the Eboni black ink. So it was with some trepidation that I sold both units and bought the Epson 2400. I purchased refillable cartridges FROM MIS with their K4 ink. The cartridges were easy to put together. As you know, it's really all about the ink. The Epson inks were sensational, so I was worried the MIS inks wouldn't be as good. The MIS K4 inks are really good. I print on Epson's Velvet fine art paper. I profiled the paper and ink with ColorVision's Profiler Pro and the prints are fantastic. I couldn't be happier. I also love the black and white prints. The Epson print driver works very well with these new inks. For what it's worth, Steve Burger [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
