Digital BW, The Print

Well Dogdrum, I wish that you did have a few answers.  I didn't tell epson that I was using a CIS, which is info gleaned from being on this list.  I've read many posts about people having printer problems and getting replacement units, however, not a one ever mentioned using a CIS or 3rd party inks.  The consensus seems to be that with most consumer epson's, the 1280 being one of them, you have about a 50 / 50 chance of getting one thats problem free.  That too is info gathered from this list..  I will let everyone know if the problem clears up with the new machine.
