Hello Diana, >Top of the wish list I am presenting to the coating formulation >people when I meet with them in a few weeks is INCREASED DMAX! >Always looking to increase that DMAX - right!? Right! This is good to hear. It's probably safe to say that for most of us here, dmax is the most important paper consideration of all, overshadowing all the rest. I personally see this as the next great limitation to be overcome. In the past two years we have seen these challenges met: 1) affordable fine art quality digital cameras 2) archival quality pigment inks 3) easy out-of-the-box fine art quality BW printers (ABW) 4) better longevity, appearance and dmax on glossy papers Now its time for better dmax on matte papers. Please tell the boys in the lab their number is up <g>. Regards, Clayton Info on black and white digital printing at http://www.cjcom.net/digiprnarts.htm
