RE: [Digital BW] Quadtone print show

2002-01-06 by David J. Bookbinder

Thanks for the pointer to Nubar's web site; I hadn't seen it yet. Many of
the photos in the show at the Cape Ann Historical Museum are there.

Nubar has also compiled his Gloucester photographs into a book, $24.95, from
Walkercreek Press.

_Code=WCP. Two of his other books are also for sale there.

They really are spectacular in "person." The web site doesn't really do them
justice.

Links to the pano's on Nubar's www site.

He sells the Gloucester Panoramas as a
limited edition set of small prints (~9X3) for $25 for the
set of five images.

I think those prints are what really pushed my down the slippery
slopes of quad BW printing. It would be great to see more of
his work. The Gloucester Panoramas as big prints would certainly
be something to see.
