Using the glossy paper I can't detect any of the "dots" one sees when using matte paper. And the tonal separation is very smooth. I've compared these prints to those I've made using matte paper with QTR. Other than the sheen of the glossy paper, I can't tell a difference in quality (Although Epson's Photo Black ink is on the warm side). Go figure.
