This question is pretty far off topic. It sounds like you might be working with color images in AdobeRGB, and when displayed on the web, the colors look flat. If so, you need to convert them to sRGB, and you should also sharpen them; Pixel Genius, and qimage have tools for that. You can find lots of info about this on dpreview.com forums.
