Thanks for that. That is very interesting about Ebony. A lot of people are using it with a lot of different ink set configurations. I am considering using it in my 10K with the Lyson Cave Paints. Now that would be a huge plus if I could also have a "universal" black that gave a good dmax on Silver Rag and matte media and canvas for color painting reproductions. I have always wondered what was "in" that Ebony that makes is perform differently than other MK pigments. There has to be something besides the usual carbon atoms. John
