Steve, Can you take your fingernail (asuming you have any!)and scratch off ink from the surface of the DaVinci? I had my wife thry this on the Crane SR and the ink wasn't removed. The paper was in-dented from the scratching, but the ink was not "scratched off". I was really impressed.
