New EPSON Printers

Hello All
I am a new member and have the following question:
Are there any data/news/rumours regarding the release of a new
generation of EPSON Printers succeding the 2400R and 4800-9800 Series?
If the answer would be yes, are they going to place the second black
cart in a new slot, so we would not have to change the black carts?
