The "striping" is not at all bold, but very subdued, yet still noticeable enough to ruin the picture. Really more in shades of incredibly fine light gray than white and looking as though the ink is either insufficient to meld together or is not absorbing into the surface and blending. More discernable in the darker areas, but present throughout and running across the whole width left to right; obviously something to do with the path of the ink being laid down. I believe the application rate was around 2800 dpi., the setting as unchanged and no other parameters adjusted. In some stripes of the printhead run it is fine and then in another section further down it begins again. Strange that it has only done this on the paper suggested for the printer/ink combination, but not on several previously runs with other papers of the same lustre or semi gloss. Maybe the finish requires a different setting with this, but I have not yet gotten into changing settings on the RIP. Clarence W.
