If you don't need/want the size then I'd buy the 2400.  Think of it this
way, you buy the 2400 and toss in two years for the 2900 or whatever when it
comes out and you're even.  I doubt you'll need a RIP with OEM ink.  But if
you need the width then there's no way to make the 2400 bigger...
