I don't have an immediate dog in this fight as I've only been using
Epson's pigs. But I favor competition, want to protect MIS et al and
don't like what I vaguely understand about the lawsuit. 

Please suggest some non-legalistic HUMAN STYLE text for letters to
Congress: Adequately titled, properly detailed, to the point.

I'm sure we'll all rewrite in our individual voices, but we'll hit
harder if we have a clear and succinct framework from which to start.
