Digital BW, The Print

Hi guys

The mystery is solved.  Back at home last night I double checked the
print dialogue box - it actually had a checkbox for 'grayscale' (not
'monochrome' as per my initial post).

To be specific, this was the Windows XP driver originally supplied
with a UK printer (if it makes a difference).  I didn't note the
driver version - I can find out if anyone needs to know.

I then downloaded the latest XP driver from the Epson website
(v5.5bAs) and installed this.  Hey presto, the 'grayscale' checkbox
has been replaced with a 'black ink only' checkbox.  And the blue cast
has gone from the output.

Thanks for prompting me to try this.
