Instead, have your computer made locally. Get some references/recommendations and when you decide on a shop, explain to the people there what you want to do with the computer and of course, how much you can afford. This way you can (with their help) pick each part of your system. Sure, this'll take a little more effort than putting in an order for an assembly line Dell, but you'll always have a place to take it if a problem crops up, and turn around time will be much shorter--and you'll have a better computer. You might start with a fast AMD processor. In compariable price ranges, they are quicker than Intel, especially in Photoshop. They also run cooler. Of course you'll invariably hear "get a Mac."
