Usually the cleaning that accompanies the cart change is enough.  I usually
just do a nozzle check and print.

The first thing I'd do is see what paper setting gives the best dmax.  Try
"Matte Paper - Heavyweight" first.  But also be sure to try "Ultra Premium
Glossy Photo Paper."  With some matte papers that is an excellent choice.

If you're lucky nothing more will be needed.  Otherwise, I'd linearize with
"Create ICC."
