I dealt with LI back in the mid 90's and learned a long time ago that they are rip offs. 
I found a manufacturer that sells me products at wholesale and you can either buy archival or not. The are located at http://www.unitedmfrs.com/

They offer from all of the matt board companies and many types of framing supplies.  They have never done me wrong and I have saved alot of money.
