For good Black Only prints on glossy paper, including the new technology ones like Crane Silver Rag or the Innova (& Permajet) papers, a Photo Black (PK) or neutralized PK (PKN) can be used. If you have color inks in the printer, then it's the only way. If you are using UT7 (or the next, soon to be released UT-3D iteration) you can print on glossy paper with one of the curves that allow glossy printing with Eboni still installed. This becomes particularly important for those who use CFS/CIS units or large format printers.
