Yes, I have. This looks like the old familiar way that Epson printers work. After a certain length of time and/or prints the printer will clean its heads. If you switch it off & on it will clean its heads. All of which uses up ink of course. Which is why I'm leaving mine switched on all the time, as I did with my 2100 for most of its 3 years.
