Hello Djon, >Epson OEM pigments for my 2200 seem cooler than they used to >be...virtually neutral in Black Only. > >Can anyone else confirm? I'm seeing neutral blacks on Moab Kayenta... It may be just the different papers. Kayenta renders carbon ink the coldest of any paper I've tested. It's my first choice in BO printing when I want a truly neutral print. This difference in papers is one of the main principles of BO printing - we can get a wide range of print tones with a single ink, just by choosing different papers. The "Paper chase" article (#5 at the link below) lists the relative ink tones for each paper, using Eboni BO. Epson MK will be the same, just a tad warmer than Eboni. I doubt that Epson has changed the formula. Regards, Clayton Info on black and white digital printing at http://www.cjcom.net/digiprnarts.htm
