Digital BW, The Print

When using one of Paul Roark's curves with the MIS VM inkset, how do you 
softproof with photoshop?  Specifically, what profile do you choose in 
the custom setting?  And, what rendering intent?  Do you simulate paper 
white and/or ink black?
