Digital BW, The Print

David Spivak finally called me after I left several phone messages 
informing him of the paths of action I have open to me in order to have 
him return my work. It was not a pleasant conversation. An hour or so 
later, he called again, threatening me with legal action for slandering 
his magazine. (Focus or Inked? Do they still exist?) According to the 
Law, telling the truth is not slander. He cashed my checks and recieved 
my portfolio in January. Today is May 11. My e-mail of April 26 was not 
responded to, and yesterday's e-mails to him at both Inked and Focus 
were returned as undeliverable. I told him to keep the money, and all I 
ask is that my work be returned. He's holding several thousand dollars 
worth of prints, and he chastised me for bring unreasonable and accused 
me of slander.(!!??)
