Digital BW, The Print

I must have some compulsive obsessive disorder... I'm finally getting 
some very satisfying prints with FS using both piezo and John Woolf 
curves (right, why would one use both <g>)...and I'm getting fairly 
comfortable with Paul's psychedelic VM curves that make their own 
miracles... 

What I'm missing is the old neutral print on semi-gloss or semi-matte 
paper. I had trouble adjusting the Lyson Small Gamut to consistently 
make what I was trying to make (but that is probably my fault and I 
may just need to spend more time with the ink/paper combos).

Does anyone else like the "pearl" or semi-gloss print? What ink-paper 
combination are you using?
