Digital BW, The Print

People are always asking about swapping carts in and out, well I've just 
surprised myself.  I have an Epson 2100.  In August 2004 I swapped out 
the Epson Ultrachrome carts for MIS UT7 carts.  I taped over the ink 
outlet on the base of each cart then left them untouched for very nearly 
2 years.  Today I swapped them back in - and, lo and behold, they worked 
immediately.  And so they should - but it was still a real surprise.
