I suspect the Generations and MIS Archival are basically the same inks. The beta black is blacker than the standard black that ships with the MIS Color set. Suggest you get the Beta Black- (Now renamed to "Enhanced Black") from Media Street and use either their generations or the MIS archival color inks. The inks can be freely mixed with each other. No clogging problems for me at all. They compare very favorably with the epson inks IF you have your printer profiled to the paper you will be using.
