As far as I know there is no way to tell how much is used up in cleaning cycles, but 1/3 seems far too large an estimate. My general impression is that the 2400 is rather conservative in that regard. One thing I forgot to mention is that I never turn it off, and since it never clogs I don't initiate any cleanings myself. So actual full blown cleaning cycles seem few and far between.
