You're right about the ink.  I'm very aware of this aspect of the
4800, and I considered getting one.  But I really don't have room for
one in my workroom without tearing out shelves and completely
rearranging the room.  Plus it weighs 90 lbs and I have a bad back, so
would need help if I ever wanted to move it.  I could do it if I
really needed one, but you can see from my print list that I favor
small prints.  I don't even make very many 11x14s.  This is not some
newly imposed limitation, I rarely made 16x20s in the darkroom.  There
really is no need here for a 17" printer.

Well, actually most of my heavy testing on the 2400 is over and my
ink/paper flow has slowed considerably.  I have seriously considered
refilling 2400 carts from 110ml 4800 bags, but I suspect it would go
bad before it all got used.  The real recourse is to switch to K4 4oz
bottles if it ever becomes an issue.
