Over several years I've found Epson OEM carts for 2200 don't have any storage evaporation issues at all, or any issues just sitting in the printer, on or off for weeks at a time...at 1 mile altitude and very low humidity. NOW I'm starting to enjoy MIS UT7. This is obviously a different type of cart, with sponges and an additional vent at the top. ? WHAT should I do with the MIS carts when not printing...seal in a ziploc with a damp sponge, for example? They look more vulnurable to evaporation and clogging than the higher-tech Epson carts. ADDENDUM: I've just finished some Black Only prints on Costco Kirkland and there is ZERO bronzing at any angle in many different lights, and no gloss differential. Absolutely perfect from 2200, very first print. The particular image suffered from microbanding with QTR and Epson pigs on Kirkland and that's still there faintly when inspected at a nearly flat angle, but much less with Black Only/Kirkland in deepest black(maybe 75 degrees from dead on). Mext I'll test this image with QTR and MIS. This is from a 130MB scan from 6X7...it's grainless with QTR but of course "grainy" in close inspection in Black Only at 7X9" (cropped at one end).
