For UT2 settings, see http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/UT2-Readme.htm When you use one of my curves, set the driver to "No Color Adjustment." I do not use the sliders along with a curve. Good luck with the setup. Well -- I'm a newbie at digital black and white printing and am a bit overwhelmed and confused. I'm using an Epson 1280 printer with Paul Roark's UT2 inkset (Photo Black). My current paper choice is Ilford Gallerie Classic Gloss. I edit my scans (mostly from medium format negatives) in Photoshop 7.0. What printer driver settings and print space profile (if any) would you recommend for neutral prints? Right now I'm using the appropriate curve for the paper from Paul's website and my driver settings are: Media Type: Photo Quality Ink Jet Paper, Print Quality: Best Photo (what resolution is that?), High Speed off, Gamma 2.2, Epson Natural Color, Mode: Vivid, Brightness: -6, Contrast: -6, Saturation 0, Cyan: +5, Magenta: -5, Yellow: 0. These settings are a distillation of readings from several sources and may or may not be correct. I'm happy with my prints thus far, but wonder if they can be even better. Many thanks!
