Digital BW, The Print

We are trying to set up a 9600 to run Harrington's QTR.  Everything is loaded and installed 
and we can print, but no large prints...or at least no cutom sizes.  When attempting to run 
a test strip image (38"w X 4"h) on a custom size paper (42"w X 5"h) using QTR the printer 
only prints about 8"w of the strip.  Orientation is correct, but only one end of the image is 
printed the full 4" high.  (Final image = 8"X 4").  The printer acts as if it were loaded with 
letter size paper (8.5" X 11").

When printing color images using PS CS2 and Epson drivers we have no such problems.

We're using Mac G-5, OS-X 4.7, PS CS2, USB.  

My lab supervisor has been working to resolve this problem for 2 days, so it is out of 
desperation I seek your collective wisdom and advice.
