RE: [Digital BW] MIS UT-3D new batch blue

2006-08-28 by Paul Roark

That's the QC issue MIS is trying to deal with. It's the LK input density
that the supplier seems to have changed or doesn't adequately control. It's
been coming in light, which makes the mixes have too high a chroma. The
initial "fix" failed. The issue is on the front burner at MIS.

Subject: [Digital BW] MIS UT-3D new batch blue

Hi,

I have recently (2-3 weeks) received a batch of MIS UT-3D bulk inks.
The prints are way blue from the beta inks that I was using which by
the way printed perfectly with Paul's supplied ICC. I used the new
ink to refill all carts on my 2200, some of which were empty and some
were partially full.

Anyone else seeing this problem or do I start fresh with a new set of
carts?
