Hi, I've been lurking for a bit here, taking in what I can when I get the chance. Just plugged in my first set of MIS quads for the 1270. Everything works great, as far as I can tell anyhow. Prints look just like Epson ink prints, only completely more neutral, warm or cool, just as they should. I am quite satisfied with the results so far. But, should I notice an increase in print 'quality' as well? Also, I think I've seen mention on the group about using Piezio drivers with the 1270-80 while using the MIS inks, is that correct? Is there that great an advantage to doing that, or is it only marginally better? My other question is about the greyscale ramp image. Just how is one to use this? With my first prints, I would paste the scale next to the image before printing. The print looked fine, the scale printed perfectly, so I discontinued doing that to save on a little ink. Is there something else I'm missing regarding the greyscale? Thank you for a great group, I will spend much time here trying to catch up on all the posts! Take care, Jerry Hazard http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=174808
