Digital BW, The Print

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I'm still using Photoshop 5.0.  (I know, I
know.....upgrade!)  The Print settings appear to be fairly different in
PS5, unless I'm missing something.  Anybody have any settings experience
with using a geriatric version of PS?  How about GIMP?  (Another
excellent freely downloadable photo editing software).
