Digital BW, The Print

Hello all,

I'am just about to have a go with the UT-3D inkset with a few 
printers and just wanted to check I've got the basic grasp of things 
before I start.

Initially I'll try them in the R220 and was wondering if my choice 
of ink is correct:

Eboni
C
LC
M
LM
Y

then when I go to the R1800 and R2400 I will use the LK and the LLK 
inks also.

I haven't seen much conversation regarding the R1800, is it a wise 
choice for a printer or is it likely to be problematic; I can see 
plenty of info on the R2400 but I'd prefer to leave that for colour 
work at the moment if the R1800 is up to the job.

Any opinions on my choices would be greatly appreciated,
