Don,

i've been using the pictorio film most recently on my 1280, using the
spectral negative workflow, printing with epson color inks. my 1160 is
now a dedicated bw printer, with Piezo or MIS. i haven't tried
printing film negs with the bw inks yet. since you have to trick the
printer into using a paper profile to get the higher res, i'm not so
sure how the pigment inks will take to the film surface.

i must say that i do prefer service bureau negs to the ink jet ones
for the clarity of details, at least when printing in platinum. and
the density really changes the exposure times. they are too thin often
for the work i'm doing.

i would be interested to know how the process works for you, and what
method of printmaking you are doing.
