Digital BW, The Print

Hi everyone
here are some short facts : i used the MIS quadtone system with my
good old epson 1200 about 5 years now ,and now i wanna do a complete
change coz the ink is going empty and the cardridge gets more and more
cloaked 

now i wanna buy a complete new printer and a new bulksystem but there
are so many new inks  so many printers and i dont know what to do 

i would be happy if someone could give me some suggestion 
i am from germany and i am not sure that all  printers shown on the
mis site are available in germany 

is there a good reliable ,and maybe good economical solution ?

i remember inks that work on both glossy and matte paper is this a
good choice ? 

i search for a allinone solution ->means i dont wanna have additional
costs for software or chip resetters and so on
