blank ink for semi-gloss?

For now I'm using only OEM inks on an Epson 2200 w/QTR. On Epson 
Premium Luster I get major bronzing. Spraying with Sureguard offers 
little improvment. Is there a semi-gloss paper best for Epson black 
inks or do I have to use non OEM inks? If so which ink gives no 
bronzing on EPL?
