I appreciate in advance any thoughts on this. Some of you have suggested cutting a black paper of 1-2 mm thickness to size for a frame for the plate. Do you think a thin matboard of that thickness would work? Should it cover the entire glass surface except for the plate? Should be it matte black or reflective? (I read that about reflective somewhere sometime ago in my study of historic processes in today's world.)
